1. About Kelsa
Kelsa is an on-demand daily wage worker hiring platform operated by Kelsa Technologies, Bangalore, India. Our platform at mykelsa.in connects workers seeking daily employment with employers who require same-day staffing across Bangalore.
2. Eligibility
To use Kelsa, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be legally permitted to work in India (for workers)
- Provide accurate and truthful registration information
- Have a valid Indian mobile number for OTP verification
- Have a valid UPI ID (for workers receiving payment)
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at hello@mykelsa.in if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
Kelsa reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
4. For Workers
4.1 Registration
Workers must provide accurate information including their name, mobile number, skills, work area and UPI ID. False information may result in account suspension.
4.2 Job Acceptance
When you accept a job on Kelsa, you commit to arriving on time and completing the work as described. Repeated no-shows or cancellations may result in account suspension or removal from the platform.
4.3 Payment
Workers will receive payment directly to their UPI ID after the employer confirms job completion. Kelsa deducts a 10% platform fee from the agreed daily wage. Kelsa is not responsible for delays caused by UPI system outages or incorrect UPI IDs provided by the worker.
4.4 Conduct
Workers must behave professionally at all times at job sites. Any reports of misconduct, theft, harassment or damage to property will result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to law enforcement.
5. For Employers
5.1 Job Postings
Employers must post accurate job descriptions including job type, location, daily wage and number of workers required. Misleading job postings are prohibited and may result in account suspension.
5.2 Payment Obligation
Employers are obligated to pay the agreed daily wage upon satisfactory completion of work. Payment is processed through Razorpay. Attempting to withhold or reduce agreed wages without valid reason is a violation of these terms.
5.3 Worker Treatment
Employers must treat workers with respect and dignity. Harassment, discrimination, physical or verbal abuse of workers is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent account ban and may be reported to authorities.
5.4 Platform Fee
Employers agree to pay a 10% platform fee on each booking in addition to the worker's daily wage. This fee covers GPS matching, payment processing, verification and platform maintenance.
6. Prohibited Activities
The following are strictly prohibited on Kelsa:
- Creating fake or duplicate accounts
- Providing false information during registration
- Attempting to arrange payments outside the Kelsa platform to avoid fees
- Posting illegal, discriminatory or misleading job listings
- Harassing, threatening or abusing other users
- Scraping, copying or reproducing Kelsa's platform or data
- Using Kelsa for any illegal purpose
- Circumventing OTP verification or security measures
7. Platform Fees and Payments
Kelsa charges a 10% platform fee on each completed booking. This fee is non-refundable once a job has been completed. Payment disputes must be raised within 24 hours of job completion by contacting hello@mykelsa.in.
All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. Kelsa does not store card or bank account details.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
- Employers may cancel a job posting before a worker is matched — no charge applies
- If an employer cancels after a worker has been matched and confirmed, a cancellation fee may apply
- If a worker fails to show up, the employer will not be charged and may re-post the job

9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kelsa's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the platform fees paid by the user in the 30 days preceding the claim.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the Kelsa platform including the name, logo, design, code and text is owned by Kelsa Technologies. You may not reproduce, copy or use any of this content without prior written permission.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes between workers and employers should first be reported to Kelsa at hello@mykelsa.in. We will attempt to mediate in good faith. Disputes that cannot be resolved through mediation shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in Bangalore, Karnataka.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify users of significant changes via the platform or email.
14. Termination
Kelsa reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice. Users may also delete their account at any time by contacting hello@mykelsa.in.
